Meet Molli!

Hi, Im Molli !

Photographer, movie lover, burrito chaser & professional car singer. Nice to meetcha!

Photography has been my passion as long as I can remember. I grew up in upstate New York with an insanely large family, Including my parents, six siblings, and dozens of cousins. The importance of photos was something my family unknowingly instilled in me since I was born. My mom was the master of capturing/preserving moments of all of her family & friends. She kept all her photos in what we called “The Trunk”, and inside you would find old polaroids, prints, albums & and just about anything that had a story to tell. The Trunk was my happy place, I would rummage through it for hours just in awe of all the memories and love that it was filled with. I then made it my life’s mission to make sure I continued the tradition of capturing life’s sweetest moments. After I received my first camera on my 14th birthday, I decided that I was going to be a photographer, and never looked back!

(Thanks, mom & dad… I DID IT!)

At the age of 16, I started my own small business and would photograph anything and everything. I quickly learned I had a love for people and the stories they had to tell and that is when I knew portrait photography was the path I needed to take. Now, I am a lover of photographingportraits of all kinds but when the day came that I got to do my first senior portrait session for my childhood friend, the game changed for me. Senior sessions allowed me to get even more creative and really have fun with locations, posing and fashion. Seeing these young boys and girls light up when they saw how they looked in the photos I had created for them, it made my heart BURST!

Flash forward to today and BOOM, Studio H! The goal behind studio H was to give seniors an experience like no other. When I was a senior I had my senior photos done THREE times! Yes, THREE! Each time I went to have them done, I walked into the session with no idea where the photos would be taken, no instruction on what to wear or how to style my hair. I don’t think I even talked to any of the photographers before I met them on the day of the shoot. When I got the photos back I just remember thinking “that doesn’t even look like me” or “why am I standing next to a barn with horses? I’ve never even been on a horse!”. I may have been a bit dramatic as a 17-year-old…. But still!! I want each senior I photograph to feel so authentically THEM! So with Studio H we created several steps to ensure each teen will not only look STUNNING in their senior photos but will also perfectly display their personality and who they are!  We do this through our creative consult where I get to discuss hair & makeup selection, wardrobe selection, location and much more all weeks before our seniors step foot in front of a camera!

Photographing seniors is my passion and I love my job, I love it so much that I like to be extremely involved in every step of our experience together. I will be helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera, assisting in accessory selection and guiding you through the final process of image selection. Overall I hope to give every client a fun portrait experience as well as delivering lasting heirlooms that can be adored for years to come!
